All of our programs are year-round, fun, safe and well organized. If a sports event is hosted by Mr. Excellent Sports, you’ll immediately see our branded products like table cover, tent canopy and banner. Our staff wears our ‘Famous Red Shirt’. We provide a high degree of customer service and unmatched professionalism. Our company specializes in professionally organizing and running amateur sports programs for young people of all ages. Mr. Excellent Sports is raising the bar for safety by setting the most stringent standards with each coach, program, curriculum and location. Each incident is handled personally and followed up with individual care through our Quality Assurance department.
We group children by age and ability. If your child would like to be placed with a friend, make your request at the time of registration. We’ll do our best to meet your request to keep friends and/or siblings that are close in age together.
Mr. Excellent Sports recruits highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional ability to communicate well with children. All coaches have participated in their respective sports at either the high school or college level. All coaches must complete an application, personal interview, background investigation, classroom training, field training and pass a coaches' test prior to their first day of work.
Mr. Excellent Sports tailors its programs to introductory, intermediate and advanced players. Groups will be divided by age and then by ability. Fun and enjoyment are priorities at our programs. The emphasis is on learning skills and techniques in a low pressure, appropriately competitive environment.
In order to keep all our returning players challenged and learning new skills, Mr. Excellent Sports offers a progressive curriculum that develops young athletes’ skills in an age-appropriate format. Children will graduate from one program to the next.

CHILD SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY!
Like you, our main concern is the well being of your child.
We take nothing for granted. Every coach is ‘Mr. Excellent Certified’ and goes through our mandatory reference and criminal background check. Only after clearance from our directors will coaches be allowed to have direct contact with our players.
Volunteer coaches will be given written duties and responsibilities before they are allowed to coach. Coaches who berate players, officials and parents will not be allowed to participate in our program. ‘Mr. Excellent certification’ will be withdrawn and the coach will not be allowed to participate in any Mr. Excellent functions.
Every playing area is also cleaned and goes through the ‘Mr. Excellent inspection checks’ to ensure the safety of all.

Experienced Coaches Needed (All Sports!)
We’re recruiting coaches with a good knowledge of their sport from around the GTA to provide solid instructions at our sports camps or clinics. These are paid opportunities and the best part is you don’t need to worry about all the administrative headaches; Mr. Excellent will take care of it all!

‘Game day’ Volunteer Coaches:
Do you love sports and kids? Want to get involve in your community? But you just don’t have a lot of time to commit to it? Well, Mr. Excellent has the solution!
We don’t have any drafts, tryouts, fundraisers or mandatory practices, so you require minimal time commitment. You simply volunteer on Game Day while team helpers assist with the brief communication to the parents and players. Assistant Coordinators:
Think you know everything about your sport(s). Join us! We need knowledgeable individuals to help us set up our exciting & fun leagues (ball hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football, you name it). Referees:
Are you experienced or inexperienced but know that you would be interested in being a referee for youth sports then you need to contact the Mr. Excellent Sports League office right away! These are paid positions (so much per game) but the amount is dependant on how much experience you have with the sport you choose. You would be responsible for controlling the tempo of the game and enforcing the rules of the sports as well as Mr. Excellent.
